Liffey Descent
On Sunday last the Liffey descent took place. Starting at the K club in Kildare, competitors paddled a 28.2km course containing 10 weirs and 1 portage before ending up at Trinity Rowing Club. The competition was initially started in 1959 by Canoeing Ireland and continues to go from strength.
Among the numerous competitors were our very own Seán Cahill and Alan O’Regan. Special congratulations must go to Seán who finished Second overall. Well done Seán!
